Laura Story Blessings (lyrics)
I heard this song a while ago, and LOVED IT!!! Forgot about it, and heard it again today on the way to work. I didn't make the You Tube Video, but I was so glad to find this song on line.

Mindful of Even the Smallest of Things
The other day I could not find my scriptures. This was really bothering me because I had just read them the night before. I said my prayers, and right after I finished, I was able to locate them in a very obvious place right next to my bed.
This morning, I had prayers with my little K'Lynn before she headed off to school. I was less than half awake, and was not remembering ANYTHING at this point. However, right after she finished her prayer, I was "reminded" that she owed lunch money, and would not be able to eat lunch today if she did not bring money.
I remember other "little" things like this happening to me so many times. One time, it was a little nudge to make sure I had an umbrella, only to go to school, and get caught in a significant rain storm. There has been more than once when I was reminded to pay a bill that day, or do something for my children.
These little memory joggers teach me that prayer is real, and that prayers are answered. This is such a blessing in our lives. But even more than that, this teaches me how much Heavenly Father loves each of his children. K'Lynn thanked me for remembering that, as she went and got some money out of a money jar in my room. I simply stated to her "Heavenly Father loves you. He wants you to have lunch today". While it would break a little piece of my heart if I knew K'Lynn was at school today with no way to buy any lunch, I can only imagine, in his perfect love, the compassion Heavenly Father has for us in these same aspects.
I am so thankful for prayer, and for the ways in which Heavenly Father shows his love to us in even the smallest of things.
